The gérongan notation here is based on recordings, a collection of notation very generously given to me by the late Bp Warto (RRI Solo and Mangkunegaran), and notation from various musicians including Bp Harjito, Bp Wakidi Dwidjomartono, and Bp Suyadi Téjapangrawit. This site a work-in-progress and will be revised as time permits with additions and corrections. There are many variations in gérongan; this website presents versions that I use for our rehearsals and performances. As always, I welcome suggestions, comments and especially corrections. If you have specific requests for pieces not listed below, please let me know.
